PURPOSE: An electronic control type turbo charger system for a vehicle is provided to prevent a degradation of durability of engine by minimizing an emission of contaminant in the low speed region of engine and preventing an excessive rise of combustion pressure in the high speed region of engine. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control type turbo charger system comprises a turbo charger(12) which operates by the exhaust gas emitted through the exhaust system of an engine(10) and compresses the air flowing into the intake system into a high pressure; an air storage tank(14) for receiving the air compressed by the turbo charger and storing the received air; and a main solenoid valve(16) having a degree of opening which is controlled in such a manner that the compressed air stored in the air storage tank is supplied to the intake system in accordance with the operation of the engine.
