TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND HEATING DEVICE FOR HOT RUNNER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A temperature sensor and a heating device for a hot runner system are provided to variously control the work temperature in a tip zone of a high runner nozzle and to exactly record the temperature within a strictly restricted range. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor is used for a hot runner system having a resistive element(20) connectable to a control circuit of a heating system(40) by connecting contact points(30). The resistive element has at least one auxiliary segment(24) having larger electrical resistance than the other portions(22) of the resistive element on a longitudinal or transverse extension part. The resistive element comprises at least one segment and at least one auxiliary segment. The electrical resistance of the auxiliary segment is larger than the electric resistance of the segment at predetermined temperature.
