BUS INTERFACE CIRCUIT AND RECEIVER CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: To provide a bus system and a bus interface circuit suppressing or reducing an increase in power consumption while achieving fast operation. CONSTITUTION: The bus interface circuit has a precharge circuit 12 with a switch element inserted between a bus line 11 and a precharge power supply 121 to input a precharge control signal PE to a control terminal such that the switch element is turned on when the precharge control signal is in active state. The precharge circuit 12 precharges the bus line 11 to a predetermined precharge voltage with the switch element 122 turned on by the precharge power supply 121. Further, the precharge voltage is set at a predetermined voltage between a high-potential source voltage VDD and a low-potential source voltage VSS. When the input signal input to an output circuit and to be output to the bus line 11 assumes a first logical value, the output circuit resets the bus line 11 which has been precharged to the precharge voltage, so that the bus line is set to the predetermined VSS from the precharge voltage.
