PURPOSE: A shopping mall system and method is provided to detect an access position of a purchaser, to search for a local forwarding center located at the nearest position from the purchaser, to display a name and a position of the searched local forwarding center, and to notify the purchaser of a delivery time. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. Access position data of a purchaser is analyzed and is converted into internal position data if the purchaser initially accesses a shopping mall over the internet(S10). The purchaser selects a commodity category, then possible local forwarding centers which directly can deliver the purchased commodity are searched, and delivery times are calculated(S20). In a case that the local forwarding centers can not be searched, delivery agencies are searched and also the delivery times are calculated(S30). A local forwarding center which holds the purchased commodities in stock, is searched for among the possible local forwarding centers according to an order of the delivery times(S40). If the purchaser pays the commodities, the determined local forwarding center is requested to deliver the commodities, delivers the commodities to the purchaser(S50).
