PURPOSE: A credit card reader is provided to make it possible for a main processor to communicate data with plural subordinate portable processors over a wireless network so that a credit card processing task can be executed at a position of a customer, e.g. at a table or in a car. CONSTITUTION: The credit card reader comprises a main credit card processor(500) and plural subordinate credit card processors(600). The main credit card processor(500) includes a reader(501), a key input device(502), a display(503), a data storage(504), an output device(505), a communication module(506), a wireless transceiver(507), and a CPU(508). The subordinate credit card processor(600) includes a wireless transceiver(601), an MSR(Magnetic Stripe Reader, 602), and a key input device(603). The wireless transceiver(507) transmits or receives data with the transceiver(601). The communication module(506) communicates payment related data with a host server of a card company.
