The invention relates to chromium-enriched yeast tablets and to the process for preparing the same. The process consists in preparing the suspension of bakery yeast in an amount of 0.2...20 ml, which is incubated, for inoculation, on inclined media, agarized at 30 C for 24 hours, followed by suspension in sterile water, counting in BURKER chamber and adjustment of the suspension dillution up to the level of 10 cells/ml required for starting the fermentation process, while the liquid medium is prepared in parallel by dissolving the components: 6 g of peptone, 6 g of yeast extract dissolved in distilled water, the saccharose solution 50% being prepared separately and 120 ml of said solution are used for a final saccharose concentration of 3%, are sterilized and added to the liquid growth medium which is controlled, is adjusted up to a pH value=6, with NaOH 0.1 N and is sterilized in pharmaceutical autoclave at a pressure of 1 at for 25 min, then the solution is prepared with the salt of chromium (III) microelement, 18.5...74 mg chromium chloride, with a chromium concentration of 25...100 miug/ml, said solution being added to the liquid medium at the beginning of the fermentation process, at the 0 moment, the yeast cells are multiplied and enriched in the fermentation vessel, during the 24-hours fermentation process in a liquid nutritional medium, the deposit resulting from the centrifugation being lyophilized for 12 hours, inoculated at a temperature of 70 C for one hour, the chromium-enriched yeast being admixed with adjuncts and compressed by known techniques.
|
