The plate is used as a structural element in building a rail track for high-speed railway transport. Precision setting of the armoured concrete plates of the rail track is achieved. At least two steel rods extending in the longitudinal direction of the preassembled plate or armoured concrete (10) and the protruding over the concrete surface thereof of the front face (17) are provided. The preassembled plate (10) is provided with at least one, preferably several, predetermined breaking point(s) (15) which extend(s) crosswise in relation to the steel rods (19). The steel rod (19) is anchored in the area between the front face (17) of the preassembled plate (10) and the first predetermined breaking point (15) respectively and is mounted in the direction towards the respective front face (17) in the longitudinal direction thereof in an essentially freely movable manner. According to a method for a plate composite structure of preassembled plates of armoured concrete (10), the preassembled plate (10) is placed and exactly positioned. A casing compound (42) is underpoured under the exactly positioned preassembled plate. The preassembled plate (10) is connected to the adjacent preassembled plate (10) by casing the joint and connecting the steel rods (19) after the casing compound (42) has hardened. 37 claims, 7 figures
