The holder finds application in civil engineering and the furniture industry. Its design ensures the facility of easy adjustment even in suspended position if the door or window. The holder comprises at least one fitting journal (1) which is structurally and in kinematic meshing to an adjusting element (3), and by means of its threaded section (4) is wound into a threaded washer (5) with a female thread. Element (3) is oriented at least roughly parallel to journal (1). Washer (5) with female threading and the adjustment element (3) are in direct structural and kinematic connection, with a facility to be wound, and are protected against any axial shifting.
