<p>The invention relates to a wet filter mounted on a smokestack or dust collector stack, especially meant for fitting out smokestacks in steam power plants or sawmills, brickworks, cement mills, etc. According to the invention, the filter comprises a coiled piping (3) placed between two vents (1 and 2) and mounted in the upper part of a smokestack (5), the smoke or dust being guided through said piping (3) to be washed by using water showers generated by some nozzles (8) mounted on some pipes (7) attached to the ceiling of the piping (3), the water containing the trapped particles being conveyed through a conduit (10) to the base of the smokestack, in a settling tank (11).</p> |
