<p>Firing of a fragmentation jumping grenade is designed for firing from automatic and non-automatic grenade launcher of relatively small calibre. On different embodiments, it can be used for grenade launching of under-the-barrel and above-the-barrel type, for the uindividual firing arm and their automatic grenade launchers, their analogues and modifications. It ensures the blasting of the grenades after a jump at a specified height above the hitting site. This can be achieved when a fragmentation type grenade is assembled with a new ejection-detonation device (8), novel in design and action, and front detonator (12), forming part of a standard front impact detonator which has been freed from its capsule-detonator, but has preserved all its other elements for its trouble-free and safe functioning and self-liquidation after some specific time. Together with other design novelties in the grenades and in the remaining basic elements (cartridge shells, metal charges, etc.) to the different models of grenade launchers, with the firing, the radius (zone) and the degree of the destruction effect are increasing several-fold, also ensuring the destruction of different aims: personnel and enemy equipment, found in trenches, ravines and behind other shelters of field and urban type. 5 claims, 4 figures</p> |
