PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling foam which can nearly perfectly fill a space even when the space is complicated in shape, to provide a foam-forming material for forming the filling foam, and to provide a foamable member for a hollow member. SOLUTION: The foam-forming material 1 is prepared by kneading a polymer with a crosslinking agent and a blowing agent and molding the obtained mixture into a desired shape. The surface of the material 1 is then coated with a lubricant. A mounting member 3 is fitted to the material 1 to make the foamable member P. The member 3 is attached in the inner space of a pillar 2, and the material 1 is foamed and crosslinked by heating to form the foam 6 for filling. Thus, even when the pillar 2 is complicated in shape, the inner space can be nearly perfectly filled with the foam 6 to attain sufficient vibrationproofness and soundproofness.
