摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high load transmission V-belt comprising a right and a left tension belts and many blocks engaged and fixed on each tension belt 1 capable of increasing a transmission load of the belt without increasing block weight to improve durability strength in high speed travel or high torque transmission by reducing stress concentration to roots and pillars of upper and lower beams of reinforcement members in each block. SOLUTION: This high load transmission V-belt B comprises the right and the left tension belts 1 and 1, and the blocks 7 engaged and fixed on each tension belt 1. A recess 20 is formed roughly at a width center of an upper surface of the upper beam 16 of the reinforcement member 15 in the block 7. Swells 21 and 21 are formed on the upper surface of the upper beam 16 on both sides of the recess 20 to correspond to around a base end of the upper beam 16. Strength of the base end of the upper beam 16 is thus increased while restricting increase of inertial force of the block 7. An arc-shaped surface 23 is formed of a lower surface of the base end of the upper beam 16, an upper surface of a base end of the lower beam 17, and right and left side surfaces of the pillar 18, smoothly continuous roughly in arc form. Stress concentration to the base ends of the upper and the lower beams 16 and 17 is thus avoided, thereby durability strength of the belt B is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
