PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chewable type medicinal preparation having excellent rapid action properties, suppressed bitterness of a drug and excellent administrability thereof. SOLUTION: Particles for the chewable type medicinal preparation are drug particles coated with (1) a film containing a water-insoluble polymer and a water-soluble compound as an inner layer and (2) a film containing a water-soluble polymer having≤50 mPas absolute viscosity in a Newtonian liquid of a 5% (wt./vol.%) aqueous solution at 20°C and having≤30 mm2/s kinematic viscosity in a non-Newtonian liquid as an outer layer.
