PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass having new chemical properties indicating a high dielectric constant (K>15). SOLUTION: The glass composition containing 15 to 35mol% MO, in which M is selected from BaO, CaO, MgO, PbO, SrO, and their mixtures, 30 to 60mol% TiO<SB>2</SB>, 10 to 30mol% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 1 to 7mol% P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, 0 to 3mol% Li<SB>2</SB>O, and 2 to 16mol% Ln<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, in which Ln is selected from the group of rare earth elements and their mixtures, is obtained. The glass composition which is incorporated into a dielectric composition containing dispersons of finely divided solids and in which the dispersions contain (a) 30 to 100mass% glass composition described above and dispersed in solutions of both of (c) an organic polymer binder and (d) a volatile organic solvent and (b) 0 to 70mass% ceramic filler is obtained.
