PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type ear for achieving quick and accurate mounting work and maintenance and inspection work. SOLUTION: The screw type ear comprises a main ear piece 1 having a trolley wire holding pawl 11 formed at the lower part and a ring threading screw 14 formed at the upper part, a subsidiary ear piece 2 having a trolley wire holding pawl 21 formed at the lower part for holding a trolley wire T with a headed mounting bolt 4 in combination with the main ear piece 1, and a ring 3 to be threaded to a ring threading screw 14 formed on the main ear piece 1 for fixing a mounting bracket 5 embracing the outer periphery portions of the main ear piece 1 and the subsidiary ear piece 2 in a locked condition.
