PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory management system for vehicle parts capable of optimizing an inventory state of vehicle parts. SOLUTION: A vehicle-side terminal 11 transmits a detection signal outputted from a parts state detection part consisting of various sensors detecting a state of the vehicle parts, determination information with respect to the state of related parts relative to the vehicle parts to be detected, parts identification information to identify the vehicle parts and the related parts to be detected, and vehicle identification information to identify an own vehicle to an information center 12. The information center 12 classifies the parts identification information into predetermined account information every vehicle identified by the received vehicle identification information, generates totalization information consisting of totalized numbers or the like of totalizing the parts identification information classified by every account information, and life information concerning lives such as durable periods, exchange time or the like, and transmits them to a parts center 13. The parts center 13 predicts the demands of the vehicle parts based on the totalization information and the life information for each received account information, and, for example, adjusts the inventory state according to an ordering process or the like.
