PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cast product with which the developing ratio of a defective blow can remarkably be reduced compared with that of the conventional method. SOLUTION: A cavity is demarcated by using a mold 40 and a core for giving recessed and projecting shape on at least a part of the inner wall part and also, an intermediate cast product including a finishing allowance having the recessed and projecting parts, reflected with the above recessed and projecting shape, is cast by pouring molten metal into this cavity. Thereafter, the finish product shaven into a flat surface (e.g. friction surface) is obtained by applying the shaving work onto this intermediate cast product and shaving off the finishing allowance having the recessed and projecting parts from this cast product.
