<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft supporting device to reduce a load on the loading point side and enable prevention of reduction of a life and simultaneously is low in the ball ride-over rate of a ball row, situated far from a loading point, riding over the groove shoulders of the outer and inner rings. <P>SOLUTION: The shaft supporting device 20 is so formed that a main shaft 11 having an eccentric axis is rotatably supported in a housing 12 by a rolling bearing, the rolling bearings are ball bearings in two or more rows having balls in a plurality of rows in an annular direction between the starting grooves of inner and outer rings and an act point metric L2 on the loading point at which a moment load is exerted is longer than a reaction dot metric L3. Further, a contact angle α1 on the loading point side on which a moment load F is exerted is higher than a contact angle α2 on the reverse loading point side. Further, a contact angle between inner and outer rings on the loading point side is 15 to 35°, and a contact angle between inner and outer rings on the reverse loading side is 10 to 30°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
