<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spotlight capable of restraining temperature rise of an appliance by efficiently collecting non-effective light without directly contributing to illumination to radiate heat. <P>SOLUTION: A lamp 2 and a spherical mirror 3 are installed in a housing 1, and the center of a light emitting part 2a of the lamp 2 is so set as to coincide with that of the spherical surface of the spherical mirror 3. A convergent lens 4 for converging the light from the lamp 2 and the spherical mirror 3 is mounted to the front surface part of the housing 1. A parabolic mirror 8 for reflecting, to the rear surface part 1a of the housing 1, non-effective light other than light advancing toward the convergent lens 4 and the spherical mirror 3 within the light emitted from the emitting part 2a of the lamp 2 is disposed in the housing 1. On the rear surface part 1a of the housing 1, a heat radiator 10 for radiating heat generated by the light reflected by the parabolic mirror 8 is mounted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
