<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental syringe which does not exude viscous paste from the tip end of a pore needle after discharging the viscous paste from the pore needle. <P>SOLUTION: This dental syringe has an outer cylinder 1, a plunger 2, and a gasket 3 mounted on the tip 21 end part of the plunger 2 to tightly slide on the inner wall face 11 of the outer cylinder 1. A hemispherical dent 31 is formed on the front face of the gasket 3 in contact with a syringe content. A gap A with depth larger than that of the hemispherical dent is equipped in between the plunger 2 and the gasket 3. Thus, the dental syringe has a self-suction function by returning the dent 31 on the front face of the gasket 3 to the original position after pushing out a prescribed volume of paste by pressing the plunger 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
