<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt warning device giving no unpleasant feel to a seated person not required to mount a seat belt or a driver due to an alarm issued when the person does not mount the seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: The driver such as a pregnant woman is not required to mount the seat belt in the state of an indicator lamp 4 being lit on or flashed, and so a manual switch 5 is operated to make an ECU 21 deenergize the indicator lamp 4 via switching means 6 to forcibly stop the light-on or flash of the indicator lamp 4. When the indicator lamp 4 remains lit on or flashed for a preset time unless the driver or an occupant operates the manual switch 5, timer means 7 inputs such information to the ECU 21 and the ECU 21 deenergizes the indicator lamp 4 via the switching means 6 to stop the light-on or flash of the indicator lamp 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
