<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full color printer having a printer paper feeder with a stable paper feed performance without limiting the types and thicknesses of the sheets usable as recording media. <P>SOLUTION: In this full color printer, the paper feeder thereof comprises, at the separation part thereof, a means for varying separating force generated between cut paper and an abrasive material so that the separating force can be lowered for thick cut paper and increased for thin cut paper.
