PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit even an extremely large inserting force or pull-out force and to surely prevent a module support or a plug module from being damaged in such a case. SOLUTION: The apparatus for inserting and pulling out the plug module includes a lever pull-down grip 2 supported to be oscillated in a front area of a plug module 1, and a short lever arm thereof has a lever projection, a push-off nose, and a presser 11 attached to a module rail 7. The presser 11 receives a force transmitted from the lever pull-down grip 2 and has a notch to which the lever projection of the lever pull-down grip 2 is engaged when inserting the plug module 1, and a push-off shoulder part which is pushed away by abutting the push-off nose of the lever pull-down grip 2 thereto when pulling out the plug module 1.
