PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor for selecting an image matched to the pattern of a designated template when creating a composite image by compositing an image obtained by photographing and the template. SOLUTION: A template storage means 12 stores a plurality of template data with information indicating recommended photographing conditions attached thereto. When an image designating means 20 designates an image to be fitted into an image composition area of the template, a photographing place information acquiring means 21 acquires photographing place information indicating the photographing place of the image, and a template selecting means 13 selects all the templates with recommended photographing conditions equal to the acquired photographing place information attached thereto out of the template storage means 12. Then, a template determining means 14 selects and determines desired one of the selected templates, and a composition processing means 80 fits the designated image into the image composition area of the determined template and performs composition.
