PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission / reception module for reducing electric noise induced in a light receiving part by radio waves emitted from a light emitting part. SOLUTION: On the inner bottom surface of a package 22, a silicon substrate 24 where the light emitting part 12 for converting electric signals to transmission optical signals by a light emitting element and the tip of an optical fiber 16 for transmitting the transmission optical signals and reception optical signals are respectively fixed on the upper surface and the silicon substrate 26 where the light receiving part 18 for converting the reception optical signals to the electric signals by a light receiving element is fixed on the upper surface are fixed at a prescribed interval. Between the silicon substrate 24 and the silicon substrate 26, a WDM optical circuit part 14 for outputting the transmission optical signals from the light emitting part 12 to the optical fiber 16 and outputting the reception optical signals from the optical fiber 16 to the light receiving part 18 is disposed and respectively fixed to the upper surfaces of the silicon substrate 24 and the silicon substrate 26.
