PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection system for light, heat, and water consumption composed of a new configuration in which quantities of consumed electric power, tapped water, and gases installed for each house are automatically detected by an inexpensive and economical means. SOLUTION: In the detection system for light, heat, and water consumption, the on/off button 9 of a simplified switch 8 is abutted to ruggedness of a gear 3 to be rotated in accordance with each consumption quantity in a consumption quantity integrator such as a meter for electric power or tapped water consumption or a meter for gas consumption, the number of times of switching the simplified switch 8 turned on/off by the ruggedness of the gear 3 is inputted via a counter 10 to an arithmetic unit 11 to lead out the arithmetic result information via a transmitter 13 connected to the arithmetic unit 11.
