PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder, which is simple in structure, and can surely bind documents and the like, and further, can keep and store the documents tidy. SOLUTION: The binder is composed of a beltlike base 2, a header plate 3 to be arranged below the base, and a flexible binding leg 4 to be arranged below the header plate. One through hole 5 is provided on the base at the right and left portions in the longitudinal direction with respect to the middle part so as to straddle the middle part S. The header plate is formed so as to be wider than that of both sides of the base in the longitudinal direction. Further, through holes 14 corresponding to the through holes provided on the base are provided on the header plate. Sliders 8 are slidably attached to the base in order to fix the tip of the binding leg to the upper surface of the base, the binding leg being inserted into the through hole provided on the header plate and the through hole provided on the base in order and protruding from the upper surface of the base.
