PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damaging to a tire intermediate 18, form collapse and dislocation of a bead B. SOLUTION: The bead B absorbed to a bead holder 30 is supplied and set to a specified position of the tire intermediate 18, and then the bead holder 30 is separated from the bead B. In this case, the bead B is moved toward outside diagonal compounding both directions of axial outside and radial outside. This prevents the bead holder 30 from coming into contact with the tire intermediate 18 around the bead holder to damage the tire intermediate and also prevents the bead holder from scratching the side faces of the bead B, thus eliminating the form collapse and the dislocation.
