MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR PHARMACEUTICAL WAX MATRIX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method for a pharmaceutical wax matrix. SOLUTION: This method is to manufacture a kneaded compound by compressing/shearing materials by rotation of a disk and spirally conveying by rotation of a spiral screw. A kneading extruder is constituted so as to push out the materials toward the outer circumferential direction in a valley between a rotary disk and a fixed disk by border line parts of both disks and to convey out the materials from a gap between the outer circumference of the rotary disk and the inside face of a cylinder. A wax allowed in terms of medicinal materials and medicines are thrown into the kneading extruder to carry out collectively kneading and extruding them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
