The invention concerns a device for fixing the front end assembly of a motorcycle comprising an upper plate (43), a lower plate (44), a column shaft (47) linking the two plates by enclosing the chassis column tube (5). The bearings originally mounted by the manufacturer are replaced by an assembly of parts (14) and (15) and the swivel joint element (12). The rotating elements (416) and (411) are placed in the plate (43) and the plate (44) respectively to allow them to rotate on the column shaft (47) locked in rotation by the part (14). The groove of the part (14) and the cylindrical surfaces (20) and (21) of parts (14) and (15) with axis (30) perpendicular to a median plane of the vehicle and passing through the center of the swivel joint (12) allow the entire device to pivot about the axis (30) to offset the column shaft (47) with the axis of the tube (5), thereby modifying the caster angle. The fact that the rotating element (416) is mounted in an oblong configuration (28a) of the plate (43) enables the offset on said plate to be modified and by tilting about the axis (32) and tilting of the plate (44) about the axis (31) enables the value of the caster angle with the ground and the inclination of the suspension element to be modified. |
