The device for the holding and locking of supporting, guiding and dividing elements has a multi-section beam shoe formed by a two-point mounted baseplate (1) with fastening holes (3) at its ends and two threaded bolts (7) permanently connected to the baseplate. The bolts guide a height-adjustable support plate (4) which is supported on its underside by adjusting nuts (2) located on the threaded bolts. The support plate on its upper side has grid slots (9) to allow for the sideways positioning of adjusting cheeks to suit the material thickness of the element to be accommodated.
