METHOD FOR INK PAD AND SUBLIMATION PRINTING AND SUBLIMABLE TAMPOGRAPHIC INKS

The face (12) and the edge (14) of a gambling chip (10) with straight edge is marked with a graphic decorative pattern produced by ink pad printing using an ink pad whereof the deformable head (36) is compressed. The ink used comprises a transparent pad printing ink base curable at a setting temperature ranging between 60 and 100 DEG C and sublimable coloured pigments. After the chip (10) has been marked by ink pad printing on the other face (13), it is placed in a heating chamber at 150 DEG C to obtain sublimation of the coloured pigments.
