<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin battery having a structure that is strong against applied external force. <P>SOLUTION: The thin battery having a terminal led out from an end rim of an outer circumferential part is composed of two positive plates 101 applied with a positive electrode active material, five separators 102 comprising a micro-porous film, two negative plates 103 applied with a negative electrode active material, positive electrode terminals 104 connected to each positive plate 101, negative electrode terminals 105 connected to each negative plate, an electrolyte (not shown), an upper battery exterior package member 106 and a lower battery exterior package member 107 sealing them, and sealing films 108 between the battery exterior package members 106 and 107 and the terminals 104 and 105. The battery exterior package members 106 and 107 are a resin-metal thin film laminated material, their innermost resin layers are an unextended resin film not subjected to an extending process, and the sealing film 108 comprises an unextended resin film also.
