<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is free of transfer defects and density unevenness of an image irrelevantly to whether only one-surface sides or both-surface sides of various forms are printed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device transfers a toner image formed on a photoreceptor to an intermediate transfer body moving in a specified moving direction, transfers the toner image to a recording medium placed over the intermediate transfer body, and fixes the image on the recording medium to form an image on the recording medium. The device is equipped with: a transfer member 125 which transfers the toner image on the intermediate transfer body to the recording medium by applying a voltage to the recording medium placed over the intermediate transfer body 120; and a voltage control part 130 which controls the voltage applied from the transfer member to the recording medium so that the voltage gradually decreases at the tail end part in the moving direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
