<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a part where curvature is rapidly changed within a resection area by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: A keratectomy amount deciding implement includes: a data input means for inputting correction amount data of an eye to be operated, and size data concerning a second keratectomy (resection) zone which connects a first keratectomy zone securing the correction amount to a non-keratectomy area; an arithmetic means for dividing the inputted eye correction amount into at least ten, obtaining a keratectomy amount with respect to each division correction amount, when a lens component concerning the each division correction amount is subjected to the keratectomy by gradually enlarged diameters up to the outer diameter of the second resection zone from the first keratectomy zone, and deciding the whole keratectomy amount by integrating the obtained respective keratectomy amounts; and an output means for outputting data of the calculated keratectomy amount. A cornea surgery apparatus controls a laser beam guiding means on the basis of data of the calculated keratectomy amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
