PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a moving image of multi-gradation in a narrow digital interface and to display the moving image of multi-gradation on a display device of low gradation. SOLUTION: Data of 10 or 12 bits are falsely displayed or transferred on a display device or a digital interface in which each color consists of only 6 or 8 bits. A systematic dither method or a blue noise masking method which is used for static images is applied and used for also false image processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
