PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus for measuring the amount of traffic, with high time resolution. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus comprises an integration section for integrating the packet length of a packet, having predetermined header information to packets being successively inputted for accumulating an integral value at an accumulation section; and an integral value read section for reading the integral value from the accumulation section at a predetermined time interval for outputting.
