<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving and emitting element of low cost which is excellent in safety, wavelength selectivity and high speed responsiveness and has wide directivity. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting element 1 and a light receiving element 2 are transmitting and receiving elements which are used in an optical wireless LAN or a general optical space transmission. As feature of the elements, the light emitting element 1 and the light receiving element 2 which have the same structure (PIN diodes 8 having optical resonator structures 4, 6) are obtained in the same manufacturing process, and the PIN diodes 8 which are obtained in the same manufacturing process and have the optical resonator structures 4, 6 are made a pair and used for light receiving and emitting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
