PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the moving image transmitting time of an image transmitter by only transferring the necessary part of a picked-up moving image by eliminating the unnecessary part of the image and, to save the recording capacity of an image receiver for recording moving image. SOLUTION: The image transmitter is provided with an image pick-up means 150 which picks up moving images, a still image generating means (information processing means 180) which generates a plurality of representative still images from a picked-up moving image, and a transmitting-receiving means 157 which receives the information on the reproduction start point or end point of the moving image from a portable terminal 30. The transmitter is also provided with an information processing means 180 which sets the partial moving image after the reproduction start point is received to a transmittable state when the means 180 receives the information on the reproduction start point of the moving image through the transmitting-receiving means 157 and the partial moving image before the reproduction terminating point is received to a transmittable state when the means 180 receives the information on the reproduction terminating point through the means 157 and a transmitting-receiving means 157 which transmits the representative still images and partial moving image to another communication equipment.
