摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a parallel optical axis type distance measurement device which can be easily adjusted, for use in a wide measurement range. SOLUTION: A receiving optical system has a signal intensifying means for a short distance measurement range regarding a distance X. A radiation light source 2, a light emission optical system 3, a small area photo diode 4, and the receiving optical system 5 direct respective optical axes parallel to a measurement optical beam (6). The radiation light source 2 and the small area photo diode 4 are mechanically and rigidly connected each other through at least one of rigidly connected conductor supporting sheet bars 8, 8a, and 8b. At least the small area photo diode 4 can be temporarily adjusted at the positions 9 and 9', and can be directly secured at the adjusted position 9 and 9' on the conductor supporting sheet bars 8, 8a, and 8b through at least an electric contact 10.
