PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inflation apparatus, which is not affected by the boundary face of a folded film, when the profile of characteristic values of the folded blown film is measured by a sensor means arranged only on one face side of the blown film. SOLUTION: The inflation apparatus folds the blown film molded with a ring die with a pinch roll and winds the folded blown film with a winding machine. The apparatus is provided with a first housing part and a second housing part having a suction means for separating the first layer and the second layer of the folded blown film in respective surface directions and a flat face part opposed to the separated surfaces of the first and second layers, and is provided with the sensor means for measuring the characteristic values of the blown film, arranged at least at either the first housing part or the second housing part.
