PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective sheet removing device capable of automatically removing a defective sheet from a feeding line of good quality sheets, and capable of making the good quality sheet travel along the feeding line without being damaged. SOLUTION: This defective sheet removing device is provided with a suctioning and feeding device 20 for suctioning and feeding the defective sheet to a downstream side from a delivery end of a feeding conveyor 1, and a blowing device 50 having an openable and closable shutter 53. A gate 70 capable of rising and falling is provided on the downstream side of the suctioning and feeding device 20. When a sheet S delivered from the feeding conveyor 1 is the good quality sheet, the suctioning and feeding device 20 is made to be under the suction release condition, the gate 70 is made to be under the rising condition wherein the good quality sheet is stopped, and the blowing device 50 is made to be the blowing condition. The good quality sheet is pressed upside down by the blowing air, and is fed to a feeding line on a lower part. When the sheet S is the defective sheet, the blowing device 50 is made to be under the blowing stop condition, the gate 70 is made to be under the falling condition, and the suctioning and feeding device 20 is made to be under the suctioning condition.
