PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading method of transfer paper for which positioning maneuverability of a side board becomes easier even for disabled men. SOLUTION: This sheet feeder is installed in an image forming device, has a feed tray 30 having a pair of side boards 32 comprising a front side board 32a for aligning a transfer paper S loaded to form an image from both sides and a rear side board 32b and at least one of the pair of side boards 32 can move in the direction crossing the paper feeding direction of the transfer paper S, and a template 20 according to the size of the transfer paper S, and the method comprises a first process to load the template 20 to the feed tray 30, a second process for loading the transfer paper S onto the template 20 loaded on the feed tray 30, and a third process for aligning the transfer paper S by moving the side boards 32.
