PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a plastic folding container by reinforcing the four corners of a bottom plate and the lower part of both ends of side plates to prevent deformation and breakage of the container. SOLUTION: The folding container is formed of a bottom plate 1 having four sides, a prior falling side plate 3 put down inwards and pivoted to pile up on the bottom plate at the opposite sides of the plate and a posterior falling side plate 7 put down inwards and pivoted to pile up on the bottom plate on the prior falling side plate at the other opposite side of the plate. Small erected ribs 17 are extended at both ends of the opposite sides of the bottom plate where the prior falling side plate is pivoted to bring the lower front face 18 of the both ends of the plate 3 to face the inside face of the ribs and bring it into contact with them or approach them when erecting the plate 3.
