<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous driving type support device for performing a support motion required by a person to be supported to the person to be supported. <P>SOLUTION: A support robot 1 identifies a support kind to be required by the person to be supported (a user) based on an origination output from a user terminal 2 carried by the user, selects the support motion corresponding to the support kind, and performs it. The robot 1 identifies the support kind required by a physically challenging person based on the origination output from the user terminal 2 carried by the person, and performs a walking support to assist walking and to support the hand of the person with disorder in walking by staying with the person, a voice output support to synthesize guide information in voice and to output it from a speaker to a visually challenging person, and a display output support to display and output guide information to an aurally challenging person. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
