<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weaken speed of a jet stream flowing from an annular clearance formed between a housing and a peripheral edge of a flange of a union toward a spool, and to wash foreign materials staying in a peripheral edge of a head part of the spool. <P>SOLUTION: This flow control device is formed of a housing 1, the spool 3 which slides in the housing 1, and the union 2 having a throttle 16 and the flange 25 in the periphery of an opening part 22 facing to an oil lead-in chamber 6. Shape of a tip of the flange 25 provided in the periphery of the opening part 22 of the union 2 is formed to be projected toward the inner wall surface of the housing 1 in a cross section of the union 2 in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
