<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card which has a magnetic recording component incorporated in its part and an opacifying printing layer composed of an opacifying ink formed so as to at least cover the magnetic recording part under the consideration that a heat deformation does not occur during the use of the card exposed to a high temperature and the discarding of the card after its use does not give rise to an environmental problem. <P>SOLUTION: The base material for the card is constituted of an amorphous polyester resin comprising a copolymer of terephthlic acid, cyclohexane dimethanol and ethylene glycol, a copolymer of terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid and ethylene glycol, or a polymer alloy of the copolymer, the polycarbonate and/or a polyarylate. The magnetic recording part is wrapped with the opacifying printing layer composed of the opacifying ink containing at least an opacifying coloring material with a glycol or alcoholic solvent and an acrylic resin as a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
