PIGMENT DISPERSED COMPOSITION, PHOTOSENSITIVE COLORING COMPOSITION, COLOR FILTER, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive coloring composition which is superior in color characteristic, fine-pattern forming capability and properties after curing, a pigment dispersed composition for preparing the photosensitive coloring composition, and a color filter and a liquid crystal display in which picture elements, especially blue picture elements, are formed by using the resin composition.

SOLUTION: An alkali-soluble maleimide copolymer used as a binder of the photosensitive coloring composition contains essentially a benzylmaleimide monomer unit which may have a substituent. The photosensitive coloring composition containing the maleimide copolymer is blended with a blue pigment or a phthalocyanine pigment.
