<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exploration method and an exploration device of a signal leakage part which can easily and promptly explore a signal leakage part of a cable at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: Monitoring signals of a plurality of channels including a polling signal and a carrier signal are transmitted by a cable line 12 from a substation 18 to each household terminal 22. Accordingly, if a cable 14 composing the cable line 12 is broken, the monitoring signal leaks from the broken part. Therefore, when the number of channels corresponding to the monitoring signal becomes equal to or more than a predetermined number by receiving the leaked monitoring signal and demodulating the monitoring signal for each channel, it is certified that there is a signal leakage part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
