PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segregation/accumulation/processing system for a building so as to streamline works and save labor. SOLUTION: A collecting container 2 deployed on each floor of the building 1 is provided with a traveling means and a data recording medium for segregated display of garbage. The collecting container is transferred between conveying means 5 and 7, an unloading mechanism is provided, a collecting container is vertically conveyed between a predetermined garbage collecting location 6 and each floor, and transported to the garbage collecting location through a collecting-container transfer set part 4 provided at an unloading port on each floor. The collecting container disposed in plural for horizontal conveyance according to the type of segregated garbage is held and reversed so as to eject garbage. A compiling container 10 for each segregated garbage is provided under a reversing means 9, and when an operator sets the garbage collecting container at the transfer set part on each floor, each of the collecting containers is automatically conveyed vertically and horizontally and reversed so that the segregated garbage is automatically contained in each of the compiling container, while the empty collecting container is returned to the transfer set part on the respective original floor.
